The Arlington Heights 30th Annual Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast, organized by the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce, is an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate their strengths and resources through their spirituality. Please join for a time of prayer, music, reading and reflection. All are welcome to this multi-denominational event.
Historically, the leadership of our nation has turned to God for strength and guidance. It is in this spirit that the Mayor's Annual Community Prayer Breakfast is conducted. This breakfast tradition is our community's version of the Presidential Prayer Breakfast held since 1952 in Washington D.C. We seek God's plan and purpose for our local and national governments and leaders. We also seek the strengthening of the spiritual character of our community and its leaders. We hope this brief time of fellowship will result in a spiritual rejuvenation that ultimately find its way into our lives and the lives of those we touch.
