Arlington Heights School District 25 serves 5,338 students and has 802 full and part-time employees, including 446 certified staff members and 142 teaching assistants. Our professional teaching staff averages over 12 years of teaching experience.
Arlington Heights School District 25 serves the central portion of Arlington Heights with seven elementary (K-5) schools and two middle schools (grades 6-8), with a total of more than 5,300 students. Students in Arlington Heights are WIRED for success and understanding with the skills, habits, and attitudes that are essential to prepare them to become contributing members of our global society. Language arts, mathematics, science, social science, world languages, technology, fine arts, physical education, and character education are all part of the K–8 curriculum.
In addition, the middle school curriculum also includes instruction in design technology and family and consumer science.
The district offers differentiated instruction in all classrooms to serve the needs of all children. There is an intentional focus on critical thinking skills necessary to analyze, evaluate, and communicate new knowledge and to solve authentic problems.
