Description
Improving Mental Health through Meditation and Food. Learn how your daily habits and diet affect your mental health - specifically the connection between the functions of the digestive system and the brain. Renee Renz firmly believes in the phrase “You are what you eat,” adding “and also what you eat eats.” She is a staunch advocate for local farmers and natural food co-ops, an active Weston A. Price Foundation chapter leader and KYF Chicago Board member. Renee is co-founder of GAPS™ Connections support and education group, and provides individualized consultations and group classes to anyone seeking to restore their health and vitality through natural, nutritional healing.
Learn how you can train and flex your mind through simple mindfulness techniques in order to de-stress, sleep better, and enhance your relationships at home and at work. Mihaela Marcusanu, Ph.D., is a Mindfulness Coach that helps busy professionals de-stress and reconnect with themselves. She is an enthusiastic learner and a spiritual trekker who’s life has been completely transformed through years of practicing meditation.
