Come individually, gather a few people or make it an occasion for your office and reserve a table of 10 with a table sponsorship. The afternoon will include a performance by Main Street Opera and some laughs with comedienne and American Laughing Champion, Julie Ostrow.
Main Street Opera will perform a selection of holiday music for your enjoyment. Main Street Opera is a not-for-profit opera organization headquartered in Arlington Heights. It’s primary goals are to enjoin passionate opera patrons, professional performers and the public to bring together quality opera experiences and educational programs to the northwest suburbs. http://mainstreetopera.org/
Julie Ostrow
Local comedienne, trained improviser, and professional speaker Julie Ostrow delights audiences with her unique perspective on life. Being a woman is fun, right? (Yeah, right. Sometimes it's more of a pain or two.) Julie shares her comedic spin on the "joys" of being a woman. Her personal motto, "find the funny," helps her to find humor in everyday moments and in life's seemingly most difficult situations.
Julie's enthusiasm and passionate spirit, combined with her comedic insight, help to make her a warm and engaging entertainer.
As the Humor, Laughter, and Improv Coach, American Laughing Champion and Second City-trained Julie Ostrow teaches organizations and corporate teams to use Improv 2 Improve to improve Creativity, Communication, Team Building, and Innovation with their clients and within their organizations. As a certified laughter yoga leader, she conducts humor and laughter workshops in which she teaches the benefits of using humor and laughter in all aspects of our lives, including in the workplace. Having more than 15 years of corporate experience as marketing professional, Julie is able to identify the trigger points of miscommunication and low morale in the corporate culture. By infusing her corporate experience with her humor, laughter, and improv tools, she is able to guide organizations to communication, connection, and creativity. Resulting in re-inspired teams and increased productivity.
