Mark Huber is a strategic thinker, master communicator and successful entrepreneur. With over 20 years in the world of small business, he understands the needs, concerns and goals of those who have started and grown their own companies. His degree in Interdepartmental Communications from Elmhurst College provides a solid foundation to facilitate the communication of complex strategies in language all can understand.
At the age of 19 his marketing firm was contracted by Zenith Electronics Co. to analyze the entire product line for 1989 prior to rollout and write the Field Sales Guide for their nationwide retail sales force of over 25,000 salespeople.
As a broker of engineered components from 1990 to 2010, Mark has successfully managed projects totaling over $25 million. Some of the more recognizable include:
• High performance shifters for the Ford GT 500 and Porsche 911
• Ignition coils for the Hummer H2
• Explosive charges for the 16”/50 Cal guns on the Iowa Class U.S. Navy Battleships
• Harmonizing Filters for every Motorola cellular tower erected from 1990-1997
• Antennas for more than 50% of police cars on the road in the U.S.
As a procurement consultant, Mark has been instrumental in helping mid-sized manufacturers reduce their costs while using only U.S suppliers. On average his customers have saved 25% totaling over $6 million. In 2003 his efforts contributed to a client being acquired by global, publicly traded manufacturer of
specialty electronic systems.
From 2004 to 2007 Mark was a partner a successful e-commerce company which grew from $0 to over $1 mil in annual revenues in three years. It was successfully sold to a larger competitor.
He has served as an advisor for 16 separate entrepreneurial ventures and has been published in a number of trade magazines and newspapers.
Prior to starting RXR. Mark spent 2010-2011 working as a Business Broker honing his skills in business valuation, exit planning and the M&A marketplace.
Mark specializes in advising business owners and mid-level executives. He brings his experience and skill set to the management of RXR, overseeing the day to day operations, marketing and behind the scenes financial management of the firm.
